Stats that Matter: Round 20 v Warriors

Check out the Stats that Matter from Friday night’s winning clash against the Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.

Cameron Munster brought his signature energy Friday night recording a try assist, 14 runs for 139 metres, six tackle breaks and 17 tackles in his 80 minutes of play.
The five-eighth also returned to his old kicking duties, securing Storm’s second penalty goal late into the second half. Coincidentally, Munster’s last goal was almost exactly a year ago, in Round 20 of the 2021 season.

21 rounds into his debut season in the purple jersey, Nick Meany has racked up over 30 goals out of 44 for Melbourne Storm, equating to a 69% goal kicking rate.
Round 20 saw the utility kick 2 conversions and 1 penalty bringing his total Storm goals for the season to 32.

For the third week in a row, Harry Grant tops the most tackles of anyone on field with 44.

The hooker has maintained a strong presence on field following a successful Origin period recording 42 and 59 tackles in Rounds 18 and 19.

Melbourne Storm proudly continued their winning streak over the New Zealand Warriors for the 13th consecutive game.
