Jahrome Hughes is set to hit a milestone 100 NRL games Saturday evening when Melbourne Storm face the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 19 at Accor Stadium.
Slow to start his full-fledged NRL career, Hughes made his first-grade debut in 2013 with the Gold Coast Titans playing one game, before moving to the North Queensland Cowboys for his second appearance in 2016. The then fullback underwent two back surgeries that year, before joining Storm in 2017.
Quickly showing promise, 2018 saw him find transform into a standout, premiership-winning halfback and one of the Club’s most impressive and important players.
“When I made my debut here at the Storm, it was such a great achievement,” Hughes shared.
“I didn’t think I would come down here to play footy, I was sorta just here to learn from three of the best players and the best coaches.”
