Tui Kamikamica was in peak form for Friday’s clash closing out the night with an unbeatable 100% tackle efficiency from 26 tackles. Also scoring his first try of the 2022 season, the prop topped the team stats with an impressive 14 runs for 136 metres, 1 line break, and 55 post-contact metres.

The purple faithful were full of support for their Storm squad, with 19,253 members and fans in attendance for Round 15. Witnessing 6 tries and a 12-point win margin, the crowd had plenty to cheer for as the team brought home another dub at AAMI Park. 

It was the second-largest attendance for a home game clash in the 2022 season behind the ever-popular ANZAC clash against the Warriors (22,696).

Round 15 saw Melbourne Storm face the Brisbane Broncos for the 50th time, with Storm bringing home their 36th win over the rivals.  

Their next clash is scheduled for Round 23 at Suncorp Stadium where the Broncos hold a strong 58% win percentage for 247 games, while Melbourne sits at an 81% win percentage for 31 games at the Brisbane venue. 

No.2 jersey wearer, Dean Ieremia made it his lucky number this week, securing his first 2 tries of the season in the second half of the game. 

Nearing a hat-trick with a disallowed try in the first half, Ieremia rode the adrenaline to a near season-best performance with 2 line breaks, 3 tackles breaks and 125 run metres.
