The Affiliated States Police Rugby League returns in 2022 Tri-Series

The Australian Police Rugby League Tri-Series returns in 2022 from June 8 to 10, hosted by NSWPRL with a milestone year lined up for the Affiliated States ‘Storm’ Police Rugby League. 

Like many events, the 2021 series was put on hold due to COVID-19. This year, the Tri-Series will make a grand return as the curtain raiser ahead of Origin 1. 

2022 will also see the Affiliated States ‘Storm’ Police Rugby League celebrate their 15-year anniversary and seventh year affiliated with Melbourne Storm. 

The clashes will also include the first ever interstate clash between NSWPRL women v QPSRL women.

Game 1  

Wednesday 8 June – 5.15pm  

NSW Police v Qld Police, Accor Stadium, Homebush 

This match is a curtain raiser to State of Origin 1. Gates open at 5pm with the game televised on NRL app or website. 

Game 2

Thursday 9 June – 4pm  

Affiliated States ‘Storm’ Police RL v Qld Police, Leichhardt Oval, Lilyfield. 

The game will be live-streamed on Australian Police Rugby League Facebook page with commentary. Free entry to the ground. 

Game 3

Friday 10 June – 4pm  

Affiliated States ‘Storm’ Police RL v NSW Police, Leichhardt Oval, Lilyfield. 

The match will be live-streamed on Australian Police Rugby League Facebook page with commentary. Free entry to ground.
