The Wyndham Open Training Report

Wyndham, you were a treat!

As week one of our annual Geelong training camp wrapped up, Storm hopped over to Werribee for an open training session at the Victoria University Wyndham Sporting Complex.

Excited to be back with the Storm fam for the first time in 2022, the squad turned up the heat during training, bringing out the skills and the muscles for a gruelling two-hour session in the summer sun.

Training was closely followed by player interviews from Lewi, Haz and Munny and some good old covid-safe meet and greets.

A NRL Victoria rugby league clinic showcased some little stars in the making and was a hit with the kids.

With the awesome turnout at this session and last year’s Hume open training, we’re feeling a lot of love from Melbourne’s north and west. Thank you.

South-East Melb, you’re next with a great double coming up.

There’s another open training session at the Casey Warriors ground on Saturday, February 5 from 10am.

Remember, tickets for our upcoming ‘Unite for Tonga’ trial match in Casey on February 19 are on sale, with special packages available for 2022 members. Get yours here: https://am.ticketmaster.com/melbournestorm/CaseyTrialMatch

Special thanks to the City of Wyndham and NRL Victoria for supporting our open training session. We had a lotta fun.
