Performance team locked in for 2022

The club will welcome backĀ Adam Basil in 2022 as Performance Coach, overseeing conditioning and speed development.

Basil was with the club in the same role from November 2015 until October 2019 - involved in three consecutive Grand Finals and one premiership.

Over the last two years, Basil has been the Athletic Performance Advisor for the Victorian Institute of Sport overseeing the Track and Field program.

He returns to the club with exceptional experience and expertise and outstanding character - he has signed for the next three seasons, commencing in early November when he starts with the new group of players.

Both Daniel Di Pasqua (Performance Coach - Strength) and Lachlan Penfold (Director of Performance) have also re-committed to the club for three and two years respectively.

Both have contributed enormously in the continued success of the club.

Di Pasqua commenced at the club as a consultant in 2007, while Penfold has overseen and managed the high performance department since November 2016.

The three coaches will drive our physical performance program for the next two-three years.
