Finucane reaches 150 games for Melbourne

Co-cap Dale Finucane will play his 150th game for Melbourne on Friday night.

Since joining from Canterbury in January 2015, he has played in the preliminary final in each season with Storm, reached four grand finals, won two premierships and three minor premierships, as well as gaining State of Origin honours for New South Wales.

"It’s hard to put it into words how much Storm means to me," Dale said earlier this year.

I’m honoured to have had the chance to experience this club, what it stands for, and I’ll always look fondly on my time here.

Storm General Manager – Football Frank Ponissi said Finucane would always be held in high esteem at the club.

"He has brought some outstanding traits to Storm, highlighted by his professionalism and leadership, and just being a good bloke who has time for everyone," Ponissi said.

"He has had a major influence on our playing group and he will always be regarded as one of our very best."
