Stats that Matter: Round 16 v Roosters

In our 46-0 win over the Roosters in round 16 we became the first team in league history to score 40 points 10 times in a season.

Josh Addo-Carr grabbed three tries, extending his lead as the NRL's top try scorer.

Brandon Smith made the most tackles for Melbourne (36) and scored a try, while Nicho Hynes clocked up the most run metres for either side (224), converted six from eight attempts and was also among our try scorers.

Justin Olam and Cameron Munster both set up two tries, with Munny grabbing one of his own as well.

Dale Finucane ran 147 metres with the most post-contact metres for either side (67).

Melbourne completed 33/44 sets, with an average set distance of 39.2 metres.
