Starlight Children’s Foundation has been the club's major charity partner since 2017 and the partnership has inspired a number of fundraising initiatives including the club’s Big Purple Splash event, which in 2019 raised over $18,000.
This year we are dedicating our Round 15 match against the Wests Tigers on June 19 to Starlight's Fans Pledge, making every try count for sick kids.
Storm members and fans can support the campaign by pledging a donation for every Melbourne try scored during the match.
Storm x Starlight ambassador Billy Slater encouraged the Storm family to get involved.
"Storm partnered with the Starlight Children’s Foundation in the last few years of my playing career and I always loved to spend time with the kids at the Starlight Express Room – it was always a deeply rewarding experience," he said.
