Victoria Thunderbolts again showed how far they have progressed in 2021 by drawing 24-all with title contenders Wests Tigers in round 11 of the NSWRL Jersey Flegg competition in Sydney at the weekend.

Wests Tigers jumped out to an early lead with a try within the first five minutes of the game.

A try to Saimone Ahomana at the eight-minute mark locked up the score 6-6. West Tigers scored a couple in succession but a try just before half time to Adam Naitoko, had the score 16- 12 at halftime.

The home team skipped away early in the second half to lead 24-12.

But two tries to Keovy Lemusu and Tui Ieremia plus conversions for both by Daniel Atkinson gained the Bolts a well deserved point.

Round 12 see Victorian Thunderbolts host Manly at Clearwood Drive Reserve, Truganina - 2pm kick off.
