Team Announcement: Round 4 v Broncos

Premiership-winning fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen will return for Melbourne Storm in the Good Friday game against Brisbane Broncos at AAMI Park this week.

The Clive Churchill Medal winner missed last Thursday night’s heartbreaking loss to Penrith after picking up a neck issue in the previous week’s clash with Parramatta, but has trained with the team over the past two days.

With Papenhuyzen returning for the round four game which will raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, Nicho Hynes reverts to the extended bench.

It is the only change to the starting 13 that played against the Panthers with Tom Eisenhuth named after sustaining a rib cartilage injury that forced him off early in the second half.

Added to the extended bench are rookies Dean Ieremia and Trent Loiero, and second-rower Aaron Pene.

State of Origin stars Josh Addo-Carr and Christian Welch will line up in their 100th NRL game for Storm, who will be chasing their 400th NRL victory.

Brisbane come into the game after beating Canterbury at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.

Kickoff is at 8.05pm.
