Melbourne Storm forward Cooper Clarke has today been shortlisted for The Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) Rookie of the Year.
The 20-year-old made an impressive impact throughout his first season of NRL playing 24 from 24 games, scoring two tries and averaging 93 metres per game with a 94.6% tackle efficiency.
Signed with Storm until 2029, Clarke was named the Billy Slater Rookie of the Year at the Club’s Cameron Smith Player of the Year Awards last week, recognising his excellent debut season in purple.
The winner of the RLPA Players’ Rookie of the Year from the NRL will be announced on Channel 9’s 100% Footy on Monday 14 September.
