TRADIE and Storm: A perfect package

A family owned Australian company renowned for its quality underwear and deodorants will take up a prime position on Melbourne Storm’s outerwear when the 2021 NRL season kicks off on Thursday.

TRADIE has signed a two-year partnership with the reigning premiers and will be the club’s Official Underwear, Deodorant and Bodywash Partner – the first partnership of its type for TRADIE with an NRL team.

The TRADIE logo will appear on the lower back of Storm’s jerseys, starting with the round one clash against South Sydney at AAMI Park.

And you might see a sneaky TRADIE logo appear elsewhere if you keep a close eye on the action.

Storm and TRADIE will be working together to promote TRADIE Underwear, as well as the TRADIE deodorant and bodywash range.

Storm CEO Justin Rodski said signing TRADIE as a partner had already been a big hit with the TRADIE undies fans in the Storm playing group.

“This partnership is a great fit for both TRADIE and Storm,” he said.

A number of our players already wear TRADIE undies at training and during games and they can vouch for how good, durable and comfortable they are.

“We are thrilled to welcome a proud Australian and Melbourne-born brand like TRADIE to the Storm family.”

To kick off the new partnership, TRADIE will be offering all Melbourne Storm members 20% off the full TRADIE range via its website at www.tradie.com for the next two weeks.

“In keeping up with the TRADIE philosophy, Storm members and fans can expect to see a number of fun initiatives as part of this exciting partnership over the next two years,” Rodski said.

Born in 2010 by founder Ben Goodfellow, TRADIE started as an underwear brand and has expanded into numerous categories for Australian families including socks, workwear, boots, babywear, deodorant, bodywash and drinks.

“The idea we had when TRADIE was created was to put some personality, humour and function into the underwear market and now we’re proud to be launching our TRADIE deodorant and bodywash with the help of the Storm” Goodfellow said

“From the very beginning we’ve loved to push the boundaries and have a crack. We see the brands extension into the beauty category as something worth having a crack at.

“We’re planning to have plenty of fun with our partnership with the Melbourne Storm, do things a little bit differently, as well as providing our backing to the best club in the NRL.

We’re a proud Victorian company and we’re thrilled to be partnering up with Victoria’s team.
