Storm rookies attend annual NRL induction camp

Storm rookies Daniel Atkinson, Trent Loiero, Judda Turahui and Dean Ieremia attended the annual NRL Rookie Induction Camp in western Sydney last weekend with Player Wellbeing Manager Brian Phelan.

90 players and 25 staff across all 16 NRL clubs attended the two day induction and leadership camp, which covers a broad range of social responsibility topics including illicit drugs, alcohol, gambling, respectful relationships, cultural awareness, mental health and wellbeing, social media and reputation management, personal brand, finance and concussion awareness.

Each session is delivered by experts and co-facilitated by a current or former NRL player.

The players share their experiences and model the behaviour expected of modern professional rugby league players.

22 past and current players attended this year's camp, including Matt Ballin, Ben Creagh, Alan Tongue, Chris Heighington, Russell Packer, David Gower, Dene Halatau, Jonathan Wright & Ian Roberts.
