Storm takes 'zero tolerance' approach towards racism

Melbourne Storm strongly supports Josh Addo-Carr’s stance in calling out the racial abuse he has received this week on social media.

Storm CEO Dave Donaghy said comments such as those directed at Josh have no place in society where everyone should be treated as equal, regardless of race, religion or gender.

"There is no place for racial abuse in society. Storm is proud of the diversity of our playing group and staff which we celebrated this week during multicultural round against the Titans, making these comments even more abhorrent."

"Storm has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to racial vilification and we will stand behind Josh, or any of our players, in calling out racism. It has no place in sport and no place in society."
