Team Announcement - Round 13 v Warriors

Melbourne Storm head coach Craig Bellamy has named all four State of Origin selected players in his initial 23-man squad to face the Warriors in New Zealand on Saturday.

Josh Addo-Carr, Cameron Munster, Felise Kaufusi and Will Chambers will line up in Origin I in Brisbane and are scheduled to travel to Auckland to meet up with their teammates on Thursday.

Our final 17 will be announced one hour before kick-off on Saturday.

Christian Welch has been named on the extended interchange bench as he closes in on a return from the knee injury he suffered in round 10 against the Wests Tigers.

Following surgery to repair meniscus damage, Welchy has recovered well and could make an earlier than expected comeback after taking part in this morning's training session.

Also named on the bench as additional players to the squad that faced the Bulldogs in our last appearance are Pat Kaufusi, Justin Olam, Sandor Earl, Billy Walters and Albert Vete.
