The Sunshine Coast Falcons and Easts Tigers have both continued their undefeated start to the season five rounds into the Intrust Super Cup.

Sunshine Coast Falcons 50 d Northern Pride 10

It was a comprehensive 50-10 win for the Falcons at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

The home side demonstrated a significant improvement in line speed and defensive intensity, denying the Pride football and field position in the opening 20 minutes.

The Falcons' first points came in the fifth minute in a play that started with a great cut out pass from Nicho Hynes and finished with Sandor Earl crossing in the corner.

In the following set a penalty handed the Falcons easy metres and Justin Olam capitalised, muscling his way over the line just two plays later and stretching the lead to 8-0 after 10 minutes.

Earl scored a triple as the Falcons notched up a half-century.

Easts Tigers d CQ Capras

Easts proved too strong for the Capras at Langlands Park, running out 44-12 winners.

Albie Vete opened the scoring in the third minute and Easts dominated possession in the opening 20, piling on the points and cruising to a 22-0 lead at halftime.

Vete crossed again in the 60th and 65th minute to secure an unlikely hat-trick as the young Capras forward pack struggled to match it with the experienced Easts forwards.

The Falcons and Easts Tigers will face off in a top-of-the-table clash at Sunshine Coast Stadium next Saturday.
