Wests Tigers d Victoria Thunderbolts 34-10
The U20 Victoria Thunderbolts played their final trial last weekend against the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium in Sydney.
The Wests Tigers led 16 – 4 at Halftime with Uala Salia the Thunderbolts only try-scorer.
Thunderbolts crossed for another try in the second half to Jordin Leiu, but it was mostly one-way traffic as Wests Tigers forged ahead to a 34-10 victory.
The home side named close to 30 players with an extended bench for the preseason clash, while the Thunderbolts only travelled with a squad of 18 players to prepare for their first game.
The Thunderbolts will take on the Canberra Raiders in their first Jersey Flegg Cup game on Friday March 22.
