Melbourne Storm announces major partner

Melbourne Storm today announced the signing of a new major partner for the 2019 season.

Revolutionary real estate company, Purplebricks, will occupy the front of jersey for all Storm home and away games in the 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

Storm CEO Dave Donaghy was joined at the announcement today by Purplebricks CEO Neil Tavender, head coach Craig Bellamy, skipper Cameron Smith and players Jesse Bromwich, Christian Welch and Tui Kamikamica.

“We are thrilled to have Purplebricks join the Storm family as our major partner for the 2019 season,” Donaghy said.

“It is a really exciting partnership - from the outset, their name clearly aligns itself with Melbourne Storm.

"Purplebricks is reshaping the real estate market in Australia which was attractive to the Club.

"As a rugby league club in AFL heartland, Melbourne Storm is certainly not afraid to be disruptive and creative and with its revolutionary business model in the real estate industry Purplebricks was a great fit for us.

“The partnership with Purplebricks is one we see can break new ground in a lot of ways and we are excited about working with them in the coming season.”

Purplebricks CEO Neil Tavender said Melbourne Storm was a natural fit to help drive awareness across the country.

“Storm have been a hugely successful Club for many years, on and off the field, and we are excited about partnering with them for 2019,” Tavender said.

"I'm really proud of how the Storm jersey is looking with the Purplebricks logo on the front.

“The Club is lead extremely well by Craig and Cameron on the field and with a Board and CEO who are dynamic in their planning, which is why we chose to partner with them.”
