The Storm favourite son returned home this year to end his illustrious career where he belonged.

Ryan Hoffman played 20 games in his 15th and final NRL season, taking his career tally to 325 appearances - equal 11th most in NRL history.

To see 'Hoffy' back in the purple No.12 was a sight for purple eyes however it was his impact off the field that was just as profound.

The tutelage he provided the likes of Joe Stimson will no doubt ensure this Club is well established heading into the future.

Hoffman will continue to devote his self to Melbourne Storm from next season having taken on an off-field role as Football Administration Coordinator.
