This year was always going to be about whether Felise Kaufusi could back up a breakout year in 2017.
Having now made his Origin debut, playing all three games for Queensland in this year's series, whilst being a consistent performer in 21 games for Storm, it is fair to say Kaufusi has solidified his placed amongst the premiere second-rowers in the competition.
A hamstring injury in Round 1 saw him miss the next three weeks before he returned in time to impress Maroons selectors.
In May, Kaufusi also signed a new two-year deal to remain in Melbourne. With the prime of his career only just beginning the 26-year-old is set for some exciting times in purple.
