The NRL Judiciary has charged Billy Slater with a grade one shoulder charge.
The incident occurred in the first half of Friday night's Preliminary final win over Cronulla.
An early plea would mean Slater would receive a one-week suspension however the Club can confirm it will contest the charge and is now awaiting confirmation from the NRL around details regarding the judiciary hearing.
