Vete to debut for Melbourne

Tonight Albert Vete will become the 190th player to represent the Melbourne Storm.

The Auckland-born prop signed with Melbourne from the Warriors late last week before the June 30 deadline.

After arriving at the Club at the start of the week Vete has been called instantly into Craig Bellamy's side and will come off the bench against the top-of-the-table Dragons.

He steps into the Storm line up in place of Sam Kasiano who will be sidelined for the next 8-10 weeks with a knee injury.

Vete played 46 NRL games for New Zealand after making his debut in 2015.

He made two appearances for the Warriors this season, his last coming against Melbourne at AAMI Park on ANZAC Day.
