Chambers hit with Origin charge

Storm centre Will Chambers has been hit with a charge from last night's Origin opener at the MCG.

The Match Review Committee charged the Maroons representative with dangerous contact in the second half against Blues hooker Damien Cook.

The Grade One charge can see Chambers take a reprimand and 90 carry-over points with an early plea where as he would risk a one game suspension should he challenge the charge.

Melbourne face the Broncos on Sunday at AAMI Park in Multicultural Round with a Food Truck Festival kicking-off at 12:30pm before the big game gets underway at 4:10pm.
