Addo-Carr earns Blues call up

Melbourne Storm winger Josh Addo-Carr has earned Blues selection and will make his Origin debut at the MCG.

Rewarded for a superb last 12 months of football which has included an electrifying start to 2018, Addo-Carr will become the first Storm player since Ryan Hoffman in 2015 to represent New South Wales.

The winger is one of 11 debutants in new Blues Coach Brad Fittler's side which is trying to win back the Origin shield for the first time since 2014.

The Blues have gone into camp in Sydney ahead of this year's season opener which will be played at the MCG on Wednesday 6 June.
