Melbourne Storm Premiership back-rower Felise Kaufusi has re-signed with the Club for a further two seasons, with an option also of an additional two.
Kaufusi, 26, put pen to paper on Monday in an extension that will see him remain in Melbourne until at least the end of 2020.
The Queenslander enjoyed a breakout season in 2017 that saw him play 27 games for Storm, make his Kangaroos debut during the World Cup, earn selection as 18th man for the Maroons and help Storm to Premiership glory.
The proven try-scorer's impressive 2017 season saw him awarded Storm's Most Improved player and elevated to the Club's emerging leaders group this year.
Having made his debut in 2015, Kaufusi was one of only two players to have played every game last year. After playing in the season opener this year, Kaufusi missed three weeks with a hamstring injury before returning in Round 5.
Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said, "We are very happy to have re-signed Felise for a further two seasons, he is an important part of our retention strategy.
"Felise has worked very hard to cement himself in the starting side, the challenge now for Felise and our next generation group of players is to continue to apply the same work ethic to help the Club strive for continued success.
"We are excited to have Felise, his wife Bek and daughter Atarah remain in Melbourne."
