Most people only see the 17 players who run out each weekend but there is a lot more to this playing group than meets the eye.

So far in 2018 Storm have covered the absences of Jesse Bromwich, Tim Glasby, Dale Finucane, Suliasi Vunivalu and Billy Slater.

To sit fourth after the opening 10 rounds despite missing such quality at various stages is a testament to the depth of this team.

That depth will again be called upon this Saturday night when Melbourne take on arch rivals Manly at AAMI Park.

Cameron Smith and Sam Kasiano will both miss the game after being handed one-week suspensions by the NRL judiciary.

However this playing group is determined to show it can once against cover the absence of key personnel.

"We've shown throughout the year that we have been able to cover all positions," Will Chambers said.

"We've had Jesse out for a few weeks and we've covered well, Suli we've had out and covered well.

"I think we will be in a good space no matter who is out there."

Stay tuned for the Team Announcement on Tuesday at 4pm to find out who will replace Smith and Kasiano in the side for Saturday night.
