Curtis Scott injury update

Curtis Scott may make a sooner than anticipated return to the field.

The 20-year-old suffered a high ankle sprain in Wednesday night's 50-10 win over the Warriors.

A few weeks was the initial diagnosis although on Monday Scott was making better than expected progress.

"It is an unusual one, it is not as bad as first anticipated," Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said.

"He probably will not play this weekend, more than likely he won't play against St George.

"If it settles down okay (on Tuesday) he may be named for the weekend and be given every opportunity to play but more than likely we are trying to get him up for the Titans game on Sunday week."

Storm will name their team at 4pm today for Sunday afternoon's clash with top-of-the-table Dragons.
