Melbourne Storm announces that Brick Lane Brewing Co. has joined the NRL Premiers as the Club’s official beer sponsor.

The Melbourne-based Brick Lane Brewing Co has proudly signed on to a three-year partnership that will include Brick Lane beers being poured at marquee Storm events as well as post-game.

Brick Lane is a new and independent brewery based in Melbourne with strong ties to the local community and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of brewing and becoming the independent brewer of choice in Melbourne and further afield.

Melbourne Storm is always looking for new and innovative partners which makes for the perfect affiliation with Brick Lane.

“The chance to welcome new partners and new opportunities is always exciting. The craft beer sector is booming and having Brick Lane Brewing on board as our exclusive beer partner is a great result for our Club and fans,” Storm CEO Dave Donaghy said.

“We look forward to launching the partnership and see it continue to grow for the next three years and hopefully beyond.”

The launch of the partnership with Brick Lane Brewing Co. coincides with Billy Slater’s 300th NRL game for Melbourne Storm. This significant milestone in Billy’s career will be celebrated by creating a special edition #Billy300 beer which will appear in the dressing rooms after Saturday night’s game against the Wests Tigers.

In an added link with the Melbourne Storm, Billy is also one of the founders of Brick Lane.

Brick Lane Brewing Co Founder Paul Bowker said “Melbourne Storm and Brick Lane Brewing Co are founded in Melbourne and both have a strong community of local support. The Melbourne Storm’s values of respect and passion for their sporting community and their fans are aligned with those of Brick Lane Brewing Co and we are proud to be part of the Storm family”.

“This partnership is an exciting and long-term relationship for Brick Lane Brewing Co. We are also thrilled that Billy Slater as a founder of Brick Lane Brewing will be celebrating his 300th NRL game for Storm on the same week that this partnership has been announced.”
