Hughes sidelined with shoulder

Scans on Melbourne Storm playmaker Jahrome Hughes has cleared him of serious damage to his right shoulder he injured in Friday night’s Testimonial match at Suncorp Stadium.

Hughes won’t require surgery and instead will only miss 4-6 weeks.

Premiership players Suliasi Vunivalu, Jesse Bromwich and Billy Slater who were rested from the match against the Cowboys are all expected to line-up for Round 1.
