The men in purple will be travelling to Western Australia to do so when they take on the Canterbury Bulldogs.
The game will be held at the brand new Perth Stadium as part of the NRL Double Header.
Melbourne will then return home for two home games in the space of five days, kicking off with a clash against the Wests Tigers on a Saturday night.
The Grand Final rematch then takes centre stage under lights at AAMI Park when Jonathan Thurston and the Cowboys come to town.
