NSW could have their own dose of purple pride in 2018 as they look to overturn Queensland’s State of Origin dominance.
The Blues have been on the wrong end of the ledger in 11 of the last 12 series against their archrivals.
However as Brad Fittler steps into the hot seat as coach, a fresh injection of personnel could be on the cards.

He admits he is already looking to the Premiership stars south of the border as potential Origin debutants.
Dale Finucane is coming off a career-best season while Josh Addo-Carr finished his first season in Melbourne with 23 tries (equal most in the NRL). Both would provide just the spark NSW need to reclaim the shield.
“They will be absolutely considered, and also young Curtis Scott,” Fittler told the Herald Sun.
“He’s 20 years old and he’s won a grand final with Melbourne, which is pretty impressive.
“There are a few blokes down there (in the frame), and anyone under Craig Bellamy gets the most out of themselves.
“So they’d be some of the first players I’d lean towards if we know they can handle the big occasions well.”
While Origin is will seven months away it is exciting to know Storm players are in the mix for representative football.
