Every pundit under the sun will be making their Grand Final predictions this week.

Whether they tip Storm to win or not, you can guarantee Craig Bellamy’s men will not care one, single bit.

This Melbourne side has handled the weight of expectation all year so the build up to next Sunday’s game will be no different.

Asked after the game how his side would cope with the likely tag of favouritism heading into the premiership decider, the coach was clear in his response.

“The expectation comes from outside,” Bellamy said.

“With all due respect we don’t pay much attention to what gets said outside. At the end of the day if you guys want to commentate you’re not in the Club, you’re not around our training or meetings.

“We’ve certainly got expectations but they are what we expect from the inside, they are what are important to us.

“The players are encouraged not to worry about what is said outside but to get on with trying to satisfy our expectations as a team and we go from there.”

Storm will square off in the Grand Final against either the Roosters or the Cowboys. Those two teams will play their Preliminary Final on Saturday night at 7.40pm.
