Giants are set to collide at AAMI Park this Saturday.

Storm and the Roosters have two of the NRL’s biggest forward packs and the match up will be mouth watering for this week’s top of the table clash.

Top of the table clash! Storm v Roosters, Saturday 12 August, 5:30pm at AAMI Park!

Dylan Napa and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will lead the Roosters forwards against their Storm counterparts who have been in strong form throughout the season.

Jesse Bromwich will be front and centre on Saturday and knows full well what both Napa and Waerea-Hargreaves bring to the table.

“Those two in particular just bring a lot of aggression, particularly in their defence,” Bromwich said.

“I think for us in particular it is just about matching them with that, working as a pack and working as a team.

“The Roosters are going well, they had a slip up last week but I just think that makes it a tougher game this week. They will be more fired up. Coming up after a loss you are always more fired up the next week.

“It is a top of the table clash so coming down here they will try to prove themselves and we’ve still got to prove ourselves as well.”

Saturday’s game kicks off a blockbuster finish to the season for Melbourne who play most of their remaining games at home at AAMI Park.

After travelling to every state in the country besides North Territory this season, the players cannot wait to begin the home stand this week.

“To finish the year with three out of four games at home is awesome,” Bromwich said.

“It is going to give our fans a chance to really get behind us leading into the business end of the season.”

“It is something that we have spoken about and something that we enjoy.”
