Melbourne Storm heads to Adelaide on Friday morning in preparation for its Round 16 top of the table clash against the Sydney Roosters on Saturday night at Adelaide Oval.

After another tough Origin encounter on Wednesday night where Queensland levelled the Series, Storm players Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater won’t play on Saturday night after pulling up sore on Thursday morning, leaving them with only another 48 hours to prepare for the Adelaide Oval match.

Due to suffering a serious concussion late in the second half Will Chambers will also miss the clash.

After making his Origin debut in Game 2, forward Tim Glasby has pulled up well and will take his place in the game.

Storm last played at the Adelaide Oval against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs six years ago.

Saturday’s game will be the Club’s third at the esteemed venue having faced the Bulldogs twice in 2010 and 2011.
