Three Storm players have been named in Kevin Walter’s Maroons squad for Game I of the 2017 State of Origin series.
Cameron Smith will again captain Queensland and will be joined in the side by Storm teammates Cooper Cronk and Will Chambers.
The series opener will also see Smith become the first player in the game’s history to make 40 appearances in the Origin arena.
Chambers also makes his comeback for Queensland after missing last year’s series through injury.
The Maroons will be hunting an 11th series win in 12 years when Game I kicks off next Wednesday night at Suncorp Stadium.
