Storm youngsters Brodie Croft and Curtis Scott have been named to represent the Junior Kangaroos on Friday.

In a further accolade, Croft will also captain the team that will comprise of the best young talent Australian rugby league has to offer.

The young halfback was outstanding at the pre-season Auckland Nines where he was named in the team of the tournament. He has continued that form with a great start to the season for feeder side Easts Tigers in the Queensland Cup.

This is the second time Scott has been selected for the Junior Kangaroos after earning a maiden call up in 2016.

Despite enduring an injury-interrupted start to the season the 19-year-old has enjoyed a strong few weeks in reserve grade.

Storm assistant coach Jason Ryles also enters the Junior Kangaroos camp as an assistant while the Storm head trainer Matt Barradeen joins the staff.

The Junior Kangaroos will take on the Junior Kiwis at 3.15pm this Friday 5 May, at GIO Stadium as a curtain raiser to the ANZAC Test.
