It is no secret what will be the focus of the playing group heading into their meeting with Manly.

The ability to hold onto the football is one that curtailed Melbourne against Cronulla last week.

It lead to the Club’s first loss of the season and made them well aware of their area of improvement.

ANZAC Day Blockbuster. Storm v Warriors, 7pm, April 25th. Don’t miss out!

A total of 16 errors are far more than this team has become accustomed to over the years.

The one positive is that the solution lies in a basic formula – nailing the fundamentals.

“A lot of our errors haven’t come from playing football, they’ve come from fundamental errors in the ruck,” Dale Finucane said.

“We can rectify those and that will give us a better weight of possession to complete our sets.

“It will be an emphasis this week… in our video sessions and our training sessions moving forward.”

Storm have named Jesse Bromwich, Cameron Munster and Cheyse Blair in the 21-man extended squad.

All three players will be given a chance to prove their fitness during the week.

Munster has missed the last three weeks with a broken jaw while Bromwich and Blair were late outs against the Sharks due to minor back injuries.
