NRL action returns to Hobart
Rugby league is returning to the Apple Isle!
Storm announced on Thursday that they would be playing their final trial match of the 2017 pre-season against the Canterbury Bulldogs at North Hobart Oval.
February 18 is set to be a carnival of sporting action with two curtain raisers to take place before the NRL showpiece.
Craig Bellamy is expected to field his strongest team available in preparation for Round 1, which will take place against the Bulldogs at Belmore three weeks later.
Kids (Under-15) will be given free entry after registering their details here while tickets are available at just $20 for adults and $15 for concession.
Storm will also be hosting an open training session and a number of activation activities for the people of Hobart to enjoy across the weekend.
"We haven't been to Hobart for five years and last time we played there, we played the Broncos and there was 14,000 people," Storm CEO Dave Donaghy said.
"With rugby league, there is a level of interest in that market and we look forward to exploring that with the people of Hobart to showcase our game and our Club."
