Easts Tigers have been eliminated from the Intrust Super Cup finals after being defeated 46-4 by the Townsville Blackhawks.

The Tigers simply had no answer for a rampant Blackhawks who will now take on Storm’s other feeder side, Sunshine Coast, this Saturday.

Shane Neumann scored Easts only try of the day in the 20th minute as five Storm players took part in the game.

The Tigers trailed by just 12 points at the break however the last seven tries of the game all went the way of Townsville.

It was a disappointing end to the season for Easts but it was a year that produced plenty of positives during coach Scott Sipple’s first season in charge.
