Storm prop Christian Welch has received a grade one Dangerous Contact charge from the Match Review Committee.

The incident occurred in the 69^th minute of Saturday night’s win over the Rabbitohs at AAMI Park.

If Welch accepts an early plea he would receive 75 points – which would leave him available to play in next Monday night’s clash against the Raiders in Canberra.

Storm are currently top of the NRL ladder with a 17-3 record.
