Melbourne Storm will be hosting a Variety sensory room at AAMI Park as it converts a corporate suite into a space where children with sensory disorders can enjoy Sunday’s game against Wests Tigers.
The room is aimed at enabling children who are dealing with disorders such as Autism, to watch Storm in action in a safe and comfortable environment.
The sensory room will feature soundproofing, sensory toys, books, beanbags, anxiety tools and catering.
It is the first of its kind at an Australian sporting stadium.
Storm has partnered with Variety, a national not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Tigers, Sunday 26 June, 4pm.
