Storm halfback Cooper Cronk says he understands the interest surrounding his contract situation but has reiterated negotiations will remain private.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday afternoon, Cronk was inevitably asked about his contract status.
“I understand it’s a talking point and everyone is entitled to their opinion and to ask questions,” Cronk said.
“There is also a part of negotiation that is done privately and behind closed doors.
“I love this footy club, I’ve been a part of it and blessed to be a part of it.”
