Dayne Weston was used effectively as an impact player off the interchange during his final season in Melbourne.

The well-travelled Weston appeared 10 times for Storm during his 2015 campaign with Craig Bellamy utilising the Goulburn Stockmen junior, who is renowned for his versatility, on multiple occasions at prop and second row.

The departing Weston also proved to be a beneficial recruit to Storm feeder team Easts Tigers.

Weston assisted the Tigers to a finals run in the Queensland Cup, which concluded with a semi-final loss to the Ipswich Jets.
