Nelson Asofa-Solomona got his first taste of NRL football in 2015, playing 12 games for the season.

After spending his first season in Melbourne with the Club’s U20s in 2014, the Wellington College junior graduated into Craig Bellamy’s first-grade squad for 2015 and was handed his debut in Round 8 on ANZAC Day.

The 20-year played an impact role off the bench for Storm during the season, showcasing his agility and speed along with his imposing frame.

Good performances in the Queensland Cup and at U20 level with the Thunderbolts allowed Asofa-Solomona to finish the year strongly as he featured in six out of Melbourne’s last seven games including two finals.
