Melbourne Storm’s welfare department has been recognised for the second year in a row at the 2015 RLPA Awards in Sydney last night.

The Club’s welfare team of Peter Robinson, Brian Phelan and Andrew Blowers were recognised for their hard work throughout the year with Melbourne Storm  named the RLPA's Welfare Club of the Year.

It’s a significant honour for the trio who manage welfare, education and the relocation of players in Storm’s NRL and NYC squads.

The RLPA conducted survey of all NRL players, including performance and feedback on each club’s welfare department. The results from the Storm players on the survey, coupled with observations from the NRL and RLPA's education and welfare committee made Storm a top choice.
