Storm fans will take part in Victoria’s largest Candlelight Ceremony as a giant symbol of hope at the Tackle Cancer match on Saturday night.

The Candlelight Ceremony is an important and moving part of Cancer Council Victoria’s Relay For Life events that helps to honour and remember loved ones affected by cancer.

Patrons will be asked to take part in the ceremony prior to the match as the stadium is 'blacked out' with fans encouraged to shine their own light from their smartphones to participate. A minute silence will also be observed as a mark of remembrance.
