Brett Finch catches up with Billy Slater who discusses how his recovery from shoulder surgery is coming along. Watch the interview in the player above.

Slater underwent surgery on a left shoulder injury in June which ended his 2015 season. The fullback explained his recovery is progressing well.

"I'm just starting to get it moving, it tightens right up when you put it in the sling for six weeks," Slater said.

"I'm just getting into my rehabilitation and things are going nicely.

Be there for Monday Mates Night at AAMI Park when Storm host the Knights on Monday 24 August!

"It's a long process, I've got plenty of time up my sleeve. I'm in three, four times a week getting physio.

"Once I get that range back I can start getting the strength back into it."
