Cameron Smith will captain Melbourne Storm for the 200th time on Friday night when he leads his side out against Wests Tigers.

The number nine will become just the fourth captain to achieve the feat when he breaks the 200-game barrier at Leichhardt Oval.

Be there when Storm take on the Titans in Round 22, Sunday 9 August at AAMI Park! Tickets here.

Smith becomes only the second player to reach the mark with a single club.

Former Parramatta skipper Nathan Cayless sits number one on the list with 220 games as captain at Parramatta.

This latest achievment comes off the back of a record breaking month for Smith who played his 300th game in Round 19 and became just the eighth player in history to kick 800 goals in first-grade last weekend.
