Overview:

Cameron Munster’s first season in Melbourne saw the fullback make his first-grade debut against the Cowboys in Round 12.

Aside from his one NRL match of the season, the 20-year old shared his time between Melbourne's U20's and Queensland Cup feeder side Easts Tigers throughout 2014, continuing to develop his game, helping the Tigers to a Grand Final finish.

Munster joined Storm after a breakout 2013 season with Central Queensland Capras in the Queensland Cup which saw the fullback win the competition's Rookie of the Year award.

In 2015, Munster will join Melbourne’s full-time NRL squad alongside fellow NYC Thunderbolt graduates Christian Welch, Dean Britt, Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Suliasi Vunivalu.

2014 ‘Moment’:

Munster’s 2014 ‘moment’ was his first-grade debut mid-season. Replacing an injured Billy Slater at fullback, the Norths Knights junior performed well in tough circumstances as Melbourne suffered a 22-0 loss to the Cowboys in Townsville.
